📊1. Information We Collect

PrepKloud collects minimal information to provide our services:

• Usage Data: We use localStorage in your browser to save your quiz progress and preferences
• Local Product Activity: Core pages keep up to 300 page and interaction events in prepkloud_product_events_v1. This inspectable log stays in your browser and is not transmitted automatically.
• Learner Toolkit: Watchlists, portfolio evidence, dashboard activity, and optional encrypted backups use browser storage. Backup passphrases are never stored or transmitted.
• Contact Information: If you contact us, we collect the information you choose to send
• Job Saved Searches: Job title, location, certification, and filters are stored only in your browser localStorage, with a maximum of 10 searches
• Employer Job Submissions: The static submission form creates a structured email draft in your email application; it does not write to Firestore or publish a job automatically

We use the information we collect to:

• Save your quiz progress and settings
• Improve our practice tests and user experience
• Respond to your inquiries and support requests
• Analyze usage patterns to enhance our platform

💾3. Data Storage

Quiz progress, settings, watchlists, portfolio evidence, local product activity, and job saved searches are stored locally in your browser using localStorage. Pasted resumes and job descriptions are processed locally and are not added to the product activity log. This data does not leave your device unless you explicitly export or share it. Encrypted backup files leave the browser only when you download them. Employer job submissions leave the site only when you choose to send the prepared email through your email provider.

🔗4. Third-Party Services

We may use third-party services for analytics and content delivery. Job-board and employer links open external websites that own and process their own data under their policies. PrepKloud does not scrape restricted job boards and does not receive application data submitted on those external sites.

💼5. Job Listings and Recruiter Submissions

Employer submissions are manually reviewed and do not result in immediate publication. The business email supplied for review is private by default. PrepKloud may display it on an approved listing only when the submitter separately checks the explicit public-email opt-in and authorization is verified. Consent can be withdrawn, or a correction or takedown requested, by emailing jobs@prepkloud.com with the canonical job URL and proof of authority.

Do not submit resumes, candidate records, passwords, access tokens, personal email addresses, or unnecessary personal data through the employer form.

🍪6. Cookies and Local Storage

We use browser localStorage to save quiz progress, settings, watchlists, portfolio evidence, a bounded local activity log, preferences, and up to 10 job saved searches. You can inspect, export, or clear the activity log and create an encrypted backup from the Learner Toolkit. You can clear all local data through your browser settings.

We implement appropriate security measures to protect your information. However, no method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure.

• Clear the local product activity log from the Learner Toolkit

Our service is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
